Food
We will provide breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks during the workshops and you are most welcome to bring your own. We have a fridge.
Our food will consist of vegan and vegetarian nutritious options using local and seasonal ingredients. We will provide the menu with meal options ahead of the workshops to ensure everyone gets their preferred portion and waste is minimised.
Please let us know about any dietary requirements or allergies ahead of the workshop.
Eligibility
You must be over 18 years old to attend.
It’s important that we all have something to contribute and share. Design, construction, engineering and innovation background is essential to take the course.
There will be an introduction and assistance with all tools when needed but the autonomy or at least good self-awareness working with tools is expected to ensure everyone is getting most of this workshop. As with all power tools, there is some risk involved and although we will always be available to help, it is your responsibility to assess that you are using the tools as safely as possible. All students will be asked to sign the Risk Assessment and Waiver Form upon commencing the course.
This project is aimed to nurture a collaborative and supportive environment to all. We expect everyone to be kind to each other, cooperate and help, as well as respect the facilities and farm. There will be a family living with us and quiet time will be implemented between 10pm and 6am.
What to Bring
Please bring your own camping gear: tent (if you camp), sleeping bag, sleeping mat. We can provide a handful of mattresses and blankets but please do let us know in advance if you need help with arrangements.
We will be working under a canopy or indoors most of the time and in case of poor weather can accommodate people in our shed and studio. Please bring weather-proof and warm clothing.
Sketchbook and pens / pencils.
We will provide tools but if you have any of your own non-electrical tools, please bring them too (for your own sole use - we will label them).
Yoga mat (optional).
